Day 1 Fri Fly Australia - Beijing
Fly with Cathay Pacific Airways to Beijing. Welcome to Beijing, China's political and cultural centre. Upon your arrival you will be met & transferred to the International Hotel for the next four nights.

Day 2 Sat Beijing
This morning visit the unique 15th Century Temple of Heaven, Beijing's historic symbol. After a stroll at Tiananmen Square we walk through the Gate of the Heavenly Peace to the magnificent Forbidden City, once the imperial residence for the Ming & Qin emperors. Day 3 Sun Beijing
Today experience the highlight of your trip as you climb the renowned Great Wall, one of the seven world wonders. If time permits, a photo stop will be made at the Bird Nest (National Stadium) & the Water Cube (National Aquatic Centre). (B/L/-)

Day 4 Mon Beijing
This morning explore Beijing's historic Hutong (narrow lanes) by old fashioned pedi-cab with a visit to the traditional courtyard style houses. Next, stop at Beijing Zoo for a photo of the giant pandas. This afternoon will be free for you to relax. (B/L/-)

Day 5 Tue Fly Beijing – Xian
Fly to Xian, a historic ancient capital. After arrival you will stroll in the Muslim quarter and visit the iconic Bell Tower. Stay at Jianguo Hotel for two nights. (B/L/-)

Day 6 Wed Xian
This morning marvel at the extraordinary Terracotta Warriors & Horses, buried with the Chinese first emperor for more than 2,000 years. This afternoon walk on the ancient city wall. Tonight enjoy the traditional Tang Dynasty dinner & show. (B/L/D)

Day 7 Thu Fly Xian – Guilin
Fly to Guilin. Explore the colourful Reed Flute Cave. Stay at Park Hotel for one night. (B/L/-)

Day 8 Fri Guilin - Yangshuo

Day 9 Sat Guilin - Shanghai

Day 10 Sun Shanghai
We start at Shanghai's bustling Bund followed by a stroll along the busy old China town. Explore Yu Garden, a classical Chinese garden. After a short cruise on the Huangpu River enjoy the city's panoramic views at the Jinmao Tower. Tonight watch the astonishing acrobatic show. (B/L/D)

Day 11 Shanghai - Suzhou - Shanghai
We drive to Suzhou, known as the Oriental Venice, and start exploring the Garden of Master's Net and the Lingering Garden. After a short cruise on the Grand Canal visit a silk spinning factory where you have an opportunity to buy Chinese silk. Later return to Shanghai. (B/L/-)
