It is essential that you carefully read and that you understand the following conditions before you make your booking with Travman Tours.

Making a booking & deposit
To confirm your booking, Travman Tours requires a completed signed booking form accompanied by a non-refundable deposit $330 per person.  
Receipt of the non-refundable deposit from you means that you have read and accepted these Booking Conditions.

Balance of Payment
The balance of your payment is due no later than 60 days prior to your departure. If the booking is made less than 60 days before departure the full tour cost is required immediately. If for any reason we have not received your balance payment, by the due date, we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled and to apply the appropriate cancellation charges. Individual airlines may request full payment of the airfare portion to secure your flight booking more than 60 days in advance.

Late booking
Applications for bookings made 14 days or less prior to the departure from Australia will be subject to a late booking fee of $50 per application.

Cancellation & refund
Any requests for cancellation of confirmed bookings must be in writing to us and will be subject to the following cancellation charges per person:

  • More than 60 days prior to the departure, loss of deposit paid.
  • Between 59-50 days prior to the departure, 20% of total tour cost or deposit whichever is greater.
  • Between 49 -30 days prior to the departure, 50% of total tour cost
  • Less than 29 days prior to the departure, 100% of total tour cost

Additionally cancellation of air and train services will be subject to fees charged in accordance with the type of airfare used and airline and train cancellation policies.

Refunds cannot be made for any unused or cancelled services after your tour arrangements have commenced.

Amendments to bookings
We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate changes and additional requests from you. However the following fees will apply:

  • Within 60-40days any amendment made to a confirmed reservation will incur a charge of $50 per change.
  • Once documents have been issued a reissue fee $50 per person will apply. Airfare restrictions also will apply.

Tour prices and duration
Tour prices are quoted in Australian dollars based on current exchange rate at the time of printing and they are subject to change without notice. In the event of currency fluctuations or increases in airfares, fuel surcharges, taxes, hotel rates or any other services outside our control we reserve the right to adjust the tour prices at any date even after receipt of the balance of payment. Tour duration includes day of departure and day of return.

Travel Arrangements
Although Travman Tours endeavour to ensure that tours are available as advertised, we reserve the right to cancel or delay a tour departure if we are forced to do so, and you will be offered an alternative tour, if the alternative one is not suitable to you, all monies paid to us will be fully refunded.

If for any reason we are forced to change your booking or part of it beyond our control, we reserve the right to vary the itineraries, hotels, flights or any other travel arrangements, wherever possible you will be advised for such changes. If the varied tour is only available at a higher cost, the client will pay the difference to us.

Travman Tours shall not accept responsibility for any alternations made for any reason or for any associate loss or damage.

For unforeseeable circumstances like force majeure, flight cancellation or rescheduling, accommodation overbooking etc, any decision made by the independent local tour operators is at the discretion of the tour service providers. Travman Tours shall not be liable for any claim whatsoever arising from such events.

Accommodations
Accommodation arranged for the tour is based on standard twin or double-bedded rooms in hotels or cruise ships. Triple room is always not available, a rollway bed can be arranged as an extra bed in most hotels; extra bed in cruise cabin is not available. Descriptions and photos of hotel room or cruise cabin are representative only; actual rooms/cabins occupied may vary from those shown.

Guaranteed departures
Guaranteed departures are based on group tours and will require minimum two passengers. Tours are based on minimum participants to be operated.

Passports and visas
You must carry a passport with minimum of six months validity. Visas are required to travel to the destinations in our programmes and they are the sole responsibility of the clients. Visa application fees are not included in the tour cost. On request Travman tours will provide assistance.

Baggage
The free baggage allowance for economy class travel is 20kg; business class travel is 30kg. Excess baggage charges are the sole responsibility of the passengers.

Travel insurance
We strong recommend that at the time of your booking you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy for your choice to cover against any loss of deposit, cancellation charges, baggage loss or damage, injury, theft, personal accident or medical expenses.

Health & Fitness
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have a suitable level of fitness to undertake the journey of your choice and that you have consulted with your medical practitioner about any vaccinations required for the countries you will visit.

Responsibility and Exclusion of Liability
Travman Tours (hereinafter referred to as the Company) is responsible for providing the travel services or products described in this brochure. The Company only acts as an agent for the persons & companies providing or offering the means of transport, accommodation or other services included in your booking. The Company does not own, manage or control any hotels, restaurants, transport companies, cruises or other service providers. All itineraries, vouchers, tickets are issued subject to the terms and conditions specified by the suppliers of these travel services. While the Company takes all necessary care in selecting the suppliers or service providers, it does not accept responsibility for any act or omission of these service providers.

The Company exclude all liability for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to physical and psychological injury and loss or damage to property of whatever nature) that may arise in any way in connection with the offer or supply of goods or services through the Company or any third parties or in connection with the supply of such goods or services.

The Company does not accept any liability for any injury, loss, damage, delay, additional expenses or inconveniences caused directly or indirectly by events, which are beyond our control, including, without limitation, war, acts of God, riots, strike, terrorist activity, natural diaster, industrial disputes, epidemics, medical or customs regulations.

Complaints & Claims
We endeavour to ensure that all your arrangements proceed smoothly. In case if you are not satisfied with any respect of your tour arrangements, immediately you will need to inform your local tour guides or escorts, who will endeavour to resolve the issue at the time. If this is not possible and the client wishes to lodge a complaint or claim, it must be done in writing to us within 30 days after returning to Australia.

Governing Law
This contract and all maters arising from it are subject to the laws of Victoria, Australia, and only Victorian courts have the jurisdiction over any dispute arising under this contract.

Validity
Tour itineraries and prices are accurate at the time of printing and are valid from 01 April 2012 to 31 March 2013
