Daily Itinerary

Day 1: Australia - Saigon
Fly to Saigon; upon arrival met & transfer to your hotel for three nights; enjoy the welcome dinner. (-/-D)

Day 2: Cu Chi Tunnels
We drive to Cu Chi to visit the incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the Independence War; afternoon we visit the War Remnants Museum and bustling Chinatown with Thien Hau Temple. (B/-/-)

Day 3: Saigon - Mekong Delta
Enjoy the boat ride on Mekong River to visit the Cai Be floating market where many kinds of seasonal fruits and vegetables are traded on boats. Continue our boat ride into the countryside of Vinh Long Town, you are invited to the local homes, to appreciate their fruit bonsai gardens and workshops.. (B/L/-)

Day 4: Saigon - Hue
We fly to Hue and start the boat ride on the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda, the Royal Tomb of Tu Duc King. We continue by overland to visit the former Imperial Citadel - World Cultural Heritage Site. Tonight you will be treated with the “Royal dinner” wearing traditional royal clothes. (B/-/D)

Day 5: Hue - Dannang - Hoi An
We travel to “The City of the Dead”- An Bang Cemetery that would amaze anyone visiting this region for the first time; explore the pagodas, communal houses in Hoi An Ancient Town. (B/-/-)

Day 6: Hoi An - Hanoi
Discover the Japanese Covered Bridge, Tan Ky Ancient House, Phuc Kien Assembly Hall; take afternoon flight to Hanoi. Stay two nights at Hanoi. (B/-/-)

Day 7: Hanoi
Starting your tour with the Ho Chi Minh Complex, which contains the mausoleum of the nation’s founder Ho Chi Minh, the Presidential Palace and the Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts. Close to this complex is the One Pillar Pagoda, whose origins date back to the foundation of city. Afternoon explore the Temple of Literature, which is well known as the first university of Vietnam and the impressive Ethnologic Museum, dedicated to Vietnam's 54 ethnic groups. The beautiful West Lake and the History Museum are not to be missed. Visit Hoan Kiem Lake with Ngoc Son temple. Enjoy one-hour cyclo ride in the old quarter of Hanoi and then enjoy some more walking in the area. In the evening enjoy a water puppet performance (B/L/-)

Day 8: Hanoi - Ha Long Bay - Lao Cai
We drive to Ha Long Bay - one of the world’s natural wonders. Halong Bay features thousands of limestone karsts and isles in various sizes and shapes with 1969 islets. Take a deluxe private junk to visit Ha Long Bay, explore its islets & natural caves. Board your overnight soft sleeper train departing Hanoi. (B/L/-)

Day 9: Sapa
Upon arrival met & transfer to check in your hotel; then we start our walking tour to explore the ethnic villages scattered by mountains and terraced fields, enjoy the natural beauty of rural landscape; stay overnight in Sapa. (B/-/-)

Day 10: Sapa - Hanoi
Continue to appreciate the scenery in Ham Rong; after a short visit to the boarder gate between Vietnam and China we board the overnight 4 berth soft sleeper train departing for Hanoi. (B/-/-)

Day 11: Hanoi
Upon early arrival met & transfer to your hotel for breakfast; rest of the day you will relax or do shopping in Hanoi; enjoy the farewell dinner. Stay overnight in Hanoi. (B/-/D)
